HHELP (Helping Hands Empowering & Lifting People) will be working on projects to assist teens, women & families in need. As mentors, teachers and supporters, we can support, uplift and empower each other. Your donation is appreciated and will go a long way in assisting the recipients of these funds. We may not be able to reach everyone, how-ever, for each person that we help a family will benefit from those life skills and teachings that your contribution provides. We provide various services to empower these individuals to lead independent and productive lives. Our team of dedicated staff / volunteers are available to lend a helping hand where and when needed.
Starting HHELP is very personal. We had a family member that struggled with Alcohol addiction. Unfortunately, resources were limited to the family in ways that we could not assist this individual. Unfortunately, we watched as the family member spiraled out of control and sadly eventually lost the will to fight and the battle. We made a promise that we will continue the fight to help others and their families who struggles with various forms of addictions. The struggle is real, yet not out of the reach for HHELP.
HHELP's mission will be a bridge for the residents of Maryland, District of Columbia & Virginia, in navigating and providing assistance to the people who are struggling with various addictions in the community. Providing help for women and families that are in need of assistance. Assisting with resources for families that are not familiar with the various programs and help that is available in the communities.
Why go it alone? let us be your helping hands. We can assist with some of the issues that can be burdensome and frustrating. We are here in your community, reach out.
